Tropical Sim Corvo : lukewarm.

FS9 and FSX. Corvo LPCR is the third airport to complete Azores pack 1. Once again, Tropical Sim had the merit to launch this large Azores project but Corvo lacks the charm.

Tested on FS9.1
Installation on FS9 : Classical.
File : 16 mb.
FSX version coming soon.
Corvo. A small island lost in the Atlantic. This is the farest western point of Azores. In this scenery (the third of Azores pack 1), everything is nice with small typical houses, road traffic, boats and custom autogen. But technically, the work is not fully satisfactory. If you miss the runway and run along the sides, the aircraft sink into ground. To modelize the elevated terrain, the team also had to use some tricks but on a certain angle, you can see some of them.
The good point is that, this time, the island has been improved with a specific mesh, custom ground textures and a very light autogen.

Conclusion : We really desserve a patch, someday, to update these odd graphics on Corvo. And frankly, the first Azores pack is too expensive (33 € / 45 $).
Personal comment : I really appreciate Tropical Sim team. We obviously need them, they managed to progress and i wish they can take some time to work back on larger airports. Trieste, Faro and of course the incredible Bilbao, remain their best achievement.

Very nice custom ground textures.
The team is expected to deliver a patch for Pico and Santa Maria soon.

A remarkable work on the small terminal.

Corvo LPCR. The runway itself is a technical challenge.

One of the small graphic oddity.
